Circle S Voted "BEST IN TEXAS"
by consumers at 2005 Grapefest People’s
Choice Competition

GRAPEVINE, TX…Circle S Vineyards was
voted #1 by consumers at Grapefest 2005, the largest wine festival
in the Southwest. Thirty-three (33) Texas wineries entered
over 121 Texas wines in the People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic,
the largest consumer judged wine competition in the United
States, Sept. 8-11, in Grapevine, Texas. After four days of
tasting and comparing, Circle S Vineyards received first place
with the largest number of votes for their 2003 Sangiovese.
This 19th Annual Grapefest hosted more than 250,000 wine novices
and connoisseurs. “Receiving the accolades of wine judges
from across the country certainly fills me with pride,” said
Circle S owner Dave Stacy. “But having thousands of wine
drinking consumers vote us as best in the state is the ultimate
in approval. The people from the state of Texas have spoken.”
Circle S Vineyards of Sugar Land, Texas continues
to be singled out for awards and recognition at international,
national and regional wine competitions. Including this People’s
Choice award, Circle S Vineyards has received more than 30
awards for their 2003 vintage year wines, more than any winery
in the State of Texas.
Wine festivals and competitions do the wine
buying public a great favor. People wanting to purchase and
drink the very best wines available often take advantage of
the unbiased results of wine competitions to make their choices.

"Making award winning
wine takes lots of love, hard work, and the courage to stick
to your principles. We are honored to be awarded a medal by
